How to use it

Keep one filled-in copy per client in a shared place, and update it quarterly. If it only gets written when someone leaves, it will be incomplete.

Common questions

When should a handover be written?

Before it is needed. A short note per client, kept up to date, is far better than a rushed one on the last day.

What if the person leaves suddenly?

A living document makes that survivable. Without one, start with the account history and the client's own contact.

Does this replace a client workspace?

No, it complements it. Targets, notes and action history in one shared place make handovers much shorter.
