Plain text, so it pastes into any document, email or project tool. Nothing you copy is sent or stored.
How to use it
- Fill the short version first. If a client reads nothing else, they should still know the result, the cost and the reason.
- Use the same layout every month so clients can compare at a glance.
- Keep section 3 honest. Naming what changed, including things outside your control, builds trust.
- Delete any line that does not apply. A shorter report is read more often.
Replace every [placeholder], then delete the bracketed hints. Compare against the target cost per result you agreed with the client, not against last month alone.
Common questions
How long should a client report be?
One page for most clients. Put detail in an appendix only if the client asks for it.
Should I include every metric?
No. Lead with the result, cost and reason. Add other metrics only when they explain a change.
Can I send this under my agency brand?
Yes. It is plain text, so paste it into your own document or email.
