How to connect Cursor to Meta Ads

1. Connect Meta to Cofoundr. Sign in at app.gocofoundr.com with your Meta account and select your ad accounts. You get 50 free credits for 7 days, no card, with MCP included.
2. Create a token. In Cofoundr Settings, open the MCP section, create a token, pick the ad accounts it can access, and choose read-only or read and write. Copy it right away, it is shown once.
3. Add the server to Cursor. Open Cursor's MCP settings and add a server with the URL below and your token as a bearer header. Menu names change, so check Cursor's docs if it looks different.
4. Ask about your accounts. Use the agent to read campaign data, summarise spend or build a report script.

Can Cursor change my ads?

Only if you allow it. Reads are free and unlimited. Each write action (pause, budget change, new campaign) uses 1 credit from your pool. Tokens can be limited to the ad accounts you choose, set to read-only, and revoked at any time from Settings.

Which Meta accounts can Cursor see?

Only the ad accounts you connect to Cofoundr and allow for the token or connection. It cannot see accounts outside that scope.

Does it work with other AI tools?

Yes. Any tool that supports the Model Context Protocol can connect to the same endpoint, including Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Windsurf.
