Meta Ads budget pacing calculator

How it works
- Expected spend today = monthly budget x days elapsed / days in the month.
- Difference = spent so far minus expected spend, also shown as a percentage.
- Daily spend to land the budget = budget left / days remaining.
How to use the result
A gap is a prompt to investigate, not a verdict. Look for the cause, such as a budget change, a rejected ad, a payment problem, an audience that is too small, or creative fatigue, before changing the budget.
Common questions
How close to budget should an account be?
Agree a tolerance with the client and investigate when the gap grows past it. Ten percent is a common starting point, but it is a rule of thumb.
Why can daily spend go over the daily budget?
Meta may spend more on some days and less on others, balancing over a longer period. Check Meta's current documentation for how it works.
Does it save my numbers?
No. The calculation runs in your browser and nothing is sent or stored.
